Want to flow in the privacy on your on home?… this is for you! No commitments or contracts! Yogance a la carte is a great way to spice up your home practice and challenge yourself at your own pace.

CLASS OFFERINGS:

The Ultimate Beginner Class : A full 50 minute class for the movement newbie. How do I start? How do I work to build strength/flexibility and avoid injury? What are the first steps to moving my body safely and effectively? This is the class for you. "The Ultimate Beginner" is all about forming a solid foundation in order to build a lifelong practice that keeps you growing inside and out! How exciting! I originally created this class for my mom who wanted a daily home practice she could keep coming back to. This practice can be done as much as needed in repetition. The video is broken down into a 3 minute chat about how to start a movement practice, a warm up, strength & flexibility exercises, a fun yogance flow, a cool down and finally, savasana. We talk technique, modifications and how to use props if needed. We work slowly with much awareness and patience. Movement Newbies, this one is all you :)

Advanced and Beginner Yogance Flows (class length is 15-20 minutes): Tamara takes you through step by step fun, innovative, intelligent choreYOGAphies. These are FULL BODY sequences, working on strength, flexibility, balance, breath endurance, memory, style & creativity. Tamara demonstrates and talks you through right & left sides. Once you learn all the cues, she demonstrates the entire flow with breath. Be sure to warm up and cool down before attempting the flow.

Spaghetti Flow (ALL LEVELS, class length is 40 minutes): This class is designed to specifically work on flexibility. Tamara begins answering all your questions on flexibility, how to obtain it, maintain it & work safely. She explains her method developed through her over 35 years experience as an athlete, contortionist, dancer, aerial artist & yoga practitioner. Then we get to moving. Class breakdown: Dance freestyle, warm up, slowly learning the flow, flowing with breath, cool down, savasana.

Take Out (ALL LEVELS, class length is 20 minutes): The quickie yogance workout for those with only 20 minutes to spare. You will feel energized and ready to go after this class. Warm up, flow, stretch, cool down, and take a savasana all in ONLY 20 minutes! No more excuses about not having enough time to move and sweat! The take out class is great for busy moms, 9 to 5ers on a lunch break, students at a computer all day long, or early morning get up and go practices.

Once payment is received you will be sent a link & password to access your class an unlimited amount of times. NO REFUNDS once link is sent. Movement therapy practice begins with the power of breath and voice. Unlocking the throat chakra is at the core of this empowering self loving practice. Tamara guides her students through breath-to-movement creative explorative exercises and lightly choreographed yoga-dance like sequences to assist in unblocking emotions stuck deep within in order to re-energize and ignite the body, mind, and soul with passion and fire! This is done without labels, rules, or expectations; within a non judgement zone inviting YOU to be YOU. Together we unlock your beauty from the inside out one empowering breath at a time.

All classes and workshops are ALL LEVELS! Movement therapy is YOUR practice first and foremost, so leave fear at the door. YOU get to decide how far you want to dig within. The student is always encouraged to take it at their own pace and comfort level. Your breath is your internal music setting the pace of your practice as the movement allows your spirit to dance free. This invigorating combo of breath to movement within a freely structured class provides a space for the soul to open wide with love and authenticity. And the rest is simply magic!

Tamara's guided classes and workshops are incredibly YOUnique. She guides her class/workshops/intensives through intuitive teaching. By observing her students closely and providing a safe environment to play in, a conversation between "teacher", student, souls and self unfolds. Tamara has been teaching all styles of movement for over 20 years and has been a professional and world class athlete/ dancer/ contortionist/ gymnast/ rhythmic gymnast/ aerialist/ artist/ choreographer/ yoga practitioner herself for well over 35 years (refer to bio). All she shares comes from her personal experiences, her daily practice and her life. As she continually changes, so do her teachings, so prepare to always be surprised and consistenly challenged to explore deeper. The journey towards self discovery never ends...

Open minds and open hearts are strongly encouraged. The more open and accepting you are, the more you will discover and unlock the warrior within you. Just like children, we play creatively, use our voices and breathe without apology, share stories, move free and dance without inhibitions. In order to gather a strong foundation of movement for injury free practice we also learn about proper technique and strength/mobility building exercises. Get ready to explore your doubts, fears, love, joys and everything in between within a safe space where anything is possible and being BEYOUtiful is the only requirement needed. Movement Therapist and Artist, BIO

Tamara Levinson  was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and grew up in New York City. At age 15, she represented the USA at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. After being a three time USA National Champion and competing in world class international competitions, she moved on to dancing professionally.
Tamara’s versatility as a dancer, gymnast, rhythmic gymnast, aerial artist and contortionist led her to having an over 20 year career as a professional mover.  She danced on three world tours with Madonna, and performed along side countless other popular artists. Her love for live avant-garde theatre and performance art coincided with her Argentine roots when she joined the original NYC Off-Broadway cast of “De La Guarda”. She was later a part of the creative team, choreographer and performer for the hit show Fuerzabruta on off-broadway, NYC and internationally.
Mrs. Levinson is currently working as a choreographer for film, tv and stage and a movement therapist. Tamara has been teaching all styles of movement for over 20 years and continues to consistently creates works of her own in all mediums. She lives by her one love, BEYOUtiful, NO labels mentality which allows her to continuously recreate herself and her movement art. Vulnerability and truth are the root of her daily practice, this is where she believes true freedom lives. She is humbled to be able to share her journey and her life experiences with her students. One love. Live unapologetically, BEYOUtiful and dance passionately!
